Members must obtain and submit the State mandated Child Protective Services Law clearances.  These include:

#  The Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check

#  The Online Child-Line Abuse Clearance

#  The FBI Criminal History record.

The fees for Child Abuse and Criminal Records checks have been waived for volunteers by Governor Wolf.  Child Abuse and Criminal Records checks can be done online.  If you do not have access to a computer you are welcome to use a computer here at the school to get this process started.  The FBI record check does have a $27 fee.  The FBI report requires registration which can be completed online or over the phone prior to going to a fingerprinting site.  We are happy to help you obtain your clearances any way we can.  All clearances will be good for five years.  You must provide current clearances in order to volunteer for PTO sponsored activities.  Clearances are also required to participate in class parties and class field trips.  Clearances are not required to attend PTO meetings, Open Houses, and/or Concerts/Programs.
