hi my bentworth Bearcats and wanted to send this video one to tell you how much I miss you but to this video is really for your parents to give them some information so that we are not as confused as I think we are so we're going to break this down Day by Day first Thursday tomorrow is Chromebook pick up but here's deal if you are in kindergarten or first grade and you have a tablet at home that has video and audio you do not need a Chromebook kindergarten first grade and you have a tablet and iPad a Kindle Fire any kind of tablet like that you will be fine if it has audio and video to be able to do yours online kindergarten and first grade teachers if you are second third and fourth grade you will need a Chromebook lessons will be done online teacher will be online now there is the possibility that families can share the Chromebook nobody in the elementary will be on at the same time everybody has a different time so if you children in first grade be able to share one Chromebook we do not have enough Chromebooks to give everybody who wants a Chromebook a Chromebook so we are working hard to figure out we can share or who was I said in kindergarten and first can just use a tablet again second third and fourth I would like you all to be able to have a Chromebook or a laptop play that you can do lesson so if you are in kindergarten or first grade and you received a phone call from your teacher that said you were getting a Chromebook if you could call my office or the office at the elementary I will give the number and tell me you do not need one that would be fabulous if you did not get a phone call for a Chromebook but you stay your family needs one then I also need you to call the office so that I can get you on the list that should take care of Chromebooks Chromebooks will be picked at the high school on Thursday between 10:30 and 2 again Chromebooks can be picked up on Thursday at the high school between 10 30 + 2 but if you need a Chromebook and if I can take your name off the list I am asking you to call as soon as possible to the elementary number is 724-239-3606 you can hit the office and get Michelle or Amanda or you can hit my extension which is 3/3 B96 and get me and tell me if I can take your name off the list again that would be fabulous if you can share with somebody or if you still need a Chromebook and you did not get a phone call that said you needed a Chromebook that should take care of Thursday Friday Friday all of the buses are going to run on a 2-hour delay schedule that if you typically caught your bus at 8:15 you will now need to be at the bus stop at 10:15 in the morning all elementary children every single one of you are getting a so I need you to be able to be at the bus stop to pick up your packet on a 2-hour delay schedule if you are a car rider and you need to pick up your packet as a car rider you can pick it up at the elementary 12 and 3 so we are going to run all buses first Friday every elementary students will get a packet and then if you were not at the bus stop where you are a car rider you may pick up that packet at the elementary 12 and 3 people again will remain in your car just drive through and one of us will hand it to you so that is Friday Sunday beginning at 9 online instruction will begin now in your packet you will receive several things first you will receive a letter for me that tells you a whole bunch of information you also will receive specific step-by-step guidelines on how you can hook up your Chromebook or your iPad to zoom or to Google meet which are there two platforms for instruction so you will be able to hook those up if you have a problem trying to do that all the elementary and we can help you from your teachers you will receive a schedule of when your teachers will be online providing instruction you also will receive information from your teachers about they will be available that you could call them that you could do a face-to-face either Google meet or Zoom meeting with them or they will be able to call you throughout the week in order to make sure that you ROK you also will receive all of your student logins so that they have all of them to be able to do what they need to do you are getting two weeks worth of work in your pocket on Friday so again all information will be in your packet your two weeks worth of work letters for me directions from me a schedule from your teacher and information with all of your login things on it instruction will start on Monday April 6th and again it will have a schedule of when your teacher will be online that's Monday you have a problem on Monday if you have a question on Monday you call us we will be here last but not least and for some of us the very most important thing is Sarris candy because if I've done nothing else I have eaten my Sarris candy it's been a little stressful as you are for you and for us but we will get through this so Sarah's candy pick up will be next Wednesday April 8th at the elementary at the back between 10:30 and 1 so you will drive to the back of the elementary where you would normally come in for basketball practice anything like that you're going to pull up drive right around will put your candy in and you can be on your way again if you have questions if you don't understand something I think what is happening is for posting a question and it could be different answers for Middle School and for high school vs Elementary call Michelle Amanda or I we are here everyday we will be here free day from 8 to 3:30 we can answer any specific questions you have that have to do with the elementary again our phone number is 724-2239 360 6 dial the elementary office or you can dial my extension directly at 3396 so let me go back to today if you do not need one and you got to call I need you to call me so that I can take you off the list so that we can get them for other people if by chance you didn't get a phone call and you needed then again we need you to call us write any questions call us have a great day we will get through this I promise it's our new normal but we are worth elementary teachers are so excited to see you online
